Our “Trio of Cellar Doors” tour is a half day tour available on request with your choice of either cheese, olive or chocolate sampling also included. Subject to availability [TOP]
Boutique Wine & Gourmet Food Trail Tour
And our "Boutique Wine & Gourmet Food Trail Tour" consists of five cellar doors offering a variety of wine styles from sparkling wines to fortifieds and everything in between. Hunter Shiraz and Semillon are a feature of the tour. This tour is a great introduction to the depth of Wine Country's industry!
Also included are olive, cheese and handmade chocolate sampling. Lunch consists of "clean, green" produce - a scrummy antipasto platter full of mouth watering selections. Should you want to dine elsewhere this can be arranged with lunch to participants own expense. [TOP]
The NEW Wine Indulgence Tour
Here’s one out of the box! We have recently developed a fabulous “Wine Indulgence Tour” featuring a seasonally changing, regionally focussed four course degustation lunch. Here you enjoy not one, not two BUT THREE wine tastes per couse - indulgence indeed! Discuss the wine/food matches with your wine educator. Meet the chef at the end of the meal. This tour also includes the wine tutorial - a confidence building start to your day of tasting.
Taking your time on this tour gives you the chance to gain real wine knowledge and food/wine matching techniques...
A minimum 7 days notice is required for this tour and with a tour cost for the full day from $189 p/person, this is an exceptional way of enjoying the fruits and produce of the Valley. How about a little team building, a few wine games?
Let us devise a tour for your group that works around “work”.. It's your conference and if you need to get the team together in a fun, but worthwhile, exercise for a half day or day at a cellar door/winery then getting down to the chemistry of wine and workmates could be just the ticket. We can incorporate these exercises into an itinerary for you. Simply let us know what your group needs are, what you hope to achieve and we'll assist – by way of very competent winemakers - with getting the best from them for you. And, in the midst of this, if you have a preferred restaurant for lunch, we can arrange that, also. Don't forget - we can look after partners, too, while the team is working hard... Tour bookings require 50% deposit which is only refundable after cancellation provided seats are re-booked.
Bookings can be made on Visa or Mastercard or Amex cards.
If tours are booked in conjunction with Hunter Valley Country Cabins accommodation package, there will be no cancellation penalty unless the accommodation is also cancelled.
